any team-up with lenovo is months or years away, when both companies see hoe bb 10 performs and where it begins to level off. As far as lenovo is concerned, blackberry is still at risk of a failure in the new platform. As far as blackberry is concerned, the platform could be worth 5X its current appraisal in just a few months

Some 26,000 diamonds, worth at least $162,000 and contained in transparent plastic bags in hand luggage, proved too much for the “nothing to declare” lane at a Moscow airport.

You may call the Feb remark by Lenovo CFO as rumour because it just said that Lenovo was looking for possible aquisition oversee such as RIM.
But today's comment by Lenovo's CEO has more definite intension for such a deal, which in my dictionary, is more than just "Rumour". See the comment from CEO:

Lenovo’s Yang Yuanqing told the Les Echos paper that a deal with Waterloo, Ontario-based BlackBerry “could possibly make sense, but first I need to analyze the market and understand what exactly the importance of this company is.”

As a stockholder for the long sucess of BBRY, do I really like the company being sold? Heck NO!
However, this comment lays down the bottom price of this stock so the current longs cannot be scared by the short bashing anymore.
In this sence, it is more important then the ATT release "News", which I really can careless.

BB will never ever sell to a company like Lenovo, a marketing deal maybe but at present there is no need for that as the Z10 is being well received.

BB will stay a wholly owned NA company. Nice and secure which is what all major governments and corporations want.

Samsung is dreaming if they think the core of these organizations will embrace what they are offering Note I said core! Keep the core and work out from there.

If Windows phone does not do well.MS will be forced to buy BB if Steve Jobs want to save his ****..Licensing deal or partnership with lenovo is possible. If IBM was able to sell PC division why can not BB sold lenovo with some conditions..IBM is also good fit as they have no product in mobility..

Papageorgiou, who has a "sector outperform" rating on the stock, said he expects the company sold about 1 million BlackBerry 10 devices in the quarter ended March 2.

"Gross margins should begin to move higher as more Z10s enter the mix," he said. "Next quarter will be the true test as BB10 launches in the U.S."
