Some rain on the parade at the close. Buggers.
Still closed up over 6% and a healthy level above the 5dma. I'm just happy that it's up and above where I bought more on Monday. Yesterday was a bit of a kick in the pants.

EDIT - I didn't think the TSX was going to be that much more up than the NASDAQ. My side closed up over 7% SWEET!!

Just my opinion, but I envision Blackberry becoming a software giant in the future. Meaning, they will focus strictly on software vice hardware, known world-wide as the software to have for corporations requiring stringent security measures. I also think they will allow their software on various corporate devices. Just my opinion though, but I think it very plausible.

Absolutely. I believe they hinted at that.

Definitely in the front... lol. The only thing that kept me upright was knowing that it was completely illogical to be where it was, and the fact that even after yesterday's lows, I was still in positive territory over all.

I would wait a year for my $7 shares to reach $60. No problem. I have a bunch of Nat Gas Co. stocks at about -30% now. LoL

Apple optimism is drying up - The Globe and Mail

Here are a few paragraphs from the article.

The declines feed into a 40 per cent slump that began last September, when the shares touched a record high of $705. Though analysts took some time to adjust their views on the stock, they are making up for lost time now.

Berenberg Bank cut its recommendation to “sell” from “buy” – an unheard-of downgrade during Apple’s rise – and slashed its 12-month target price to just $360 from $800. That’s a 55 per cent reappraisal, which is startling. Meanwhile, Citigroup trimmed its target price on Apple to $480 from $500.

Now, the average target has fallen to $614, according to Bloomberg, from a peak of $780 – a 21 per cent decrease, to the lowest level in a year.

Analysts seem primarily concerned with the performance of Apple’s existing products. As the Citigroup analyst says (via Tech Trader Daily ): “In conducting our regular field work with the hardware supply chain, we again find evidence of reduced demand to Apple’s suppliers for iPhone5 related components.”

And with respect to the iPad, he said his fieldwork points to a reduction in demand for the 10-inch tablet, with the newly introduced iPad mini “undoubtedly cannibalizing 10-inch iPad sales.”

I have other ventures (TSLA, BAC) that need more of my attention. Both are doing fine (Green), but I don't want to be tied down toooooooo long with BBRY.

I have a feeling that your other ventures won't have a 400% increase in the next year either so why expect it here? Not saying BBRY will or won't, but to assume it would rise that quickly in such a short period of time or less, is more than a tad ambitious.

Too true cj, but I'm hoping this stock goes up to what I want sooner than later, even if it is being a bit ambitious.

Two of my TSX bowsers are ECA and PWT. The third is PGF. Looks like I am long on them now. LOL ARX is doing OK. Apache (APA Nasdaq) looks tempting.

Oh man, I just checked that out (APA Nasdaq). That does look tempting, especially when you open up the six month's view.
