Man, it is HARD riding RIMM. I promised myself I'll stop trading it at least until Jan 30th so I didn't take profit before end of day yesterday, knowing full well that there'd be a pullback today. Now I know how the long term investors feel

    She'll bounce though, don't panic.
I knew full well once and it kept going up. Nobody knows for sure.

I checked the NASDAQ website, and they're still only showing information up as far as 12/31/12. Anyone know when they update the outstanding short interest?

Added more today on pull back..Just like RIM do or die

Sound advice, but I have a feeling that BBNation isn't going to die even if the stock crash.

Is today the day we hold $15.00?

Here's a scary thought (for shorts):

Finally, we have an anecdotal hypothesis which builds on the relatively affluent BlackBerry user base RIMM enjoys from its leadership position in the enterprise market. This user base is more likely than not in the "if I like the product, I should buy the stock" frame of mind. If, for instance, 500,000 BB10 users liked it and bought 1000 shares of RIMM, that would represent RIMM's entire float of 500 million shares. That is a frightening thought for a short seller.
Our very own Chris Umiastowski gets quoted in the above article as well.

I'm betting on an opening drop tomorrow, with a quick recovery and then a flat-to marginally higher close.

Let's be honest here, there is no 'investing' going on with this stock....it is pure gambling! (nothing wrong with that if you can afford to lose it!)

looks like you lost that bet.
RIM is too hard to predict, other than, it is going up in the long run.

totally, although I've never felt so good about losing a bet! I dumped half my shares in the mid $14's, the gain was too good to leave on the table. The other half is staying as my longer term gamble (or "investing" as it's known here)

    Yeah, not this week.
But I think it'd be $40 by June or July (after June's earning report)
and then $75 to $125 by Dec 2013 or Jan 2014.

I am a sucker for beautiful cars and have been keeping most of the old ones too (currently 5). Two of them are sitting in the backyard of my parents' house.

That is almost my exact prediction I've been spewing since the announcement of the Jan.30 launch date! Agreed, $40 by mid summer, $100 in a year. - and yes, I've put my money where my mouth is!
