    Hi there!!!!

Well yes i do invest and buy shares but the present scenario for Shares and stock market doesn't seem to be exciting, with the economy going down day by day and the oil prices on it all time low the economic outlook for 2016 doesn't seem to be well and trust me if the situation doesn't change their would soon be a time when there would be no jobs left. The recent stocks that i had invested in was AAPL Stocks and BBRY Stock and trust me its worth.

As I would also, However, we aren't a big enough market it seems.

Alas, I did my share and bought a Priv. Very nice hardware indeed.

As I had 4 Android phones and 3 Android tablets prior, I already knew #DroidSux.

2 of my Android phones and 1 of my Android tablets will soon be in the hands of new Canadians who are refugees from Syria.
This is hilarious! (refugees from Syria)

I can confirm that the 2 patent deals (Canon and IGT) were part of the last ER (and included so will not be for this current quarter) , but due to timing issues with respect to the deal, it was announced just recently.
Also, as with the Cisco deal, the names being released are in essence a marketing/warning to other companies. (my opinion)

I wouldn't be surprised if BlackBerry doesn't have more patent & tech people looking into other products that may be a "target", then they have people working on BB10 these days.

Fairfax Financials largest five positions are Blackberry, Resolute Forest Products, Kennedy Wilson, International Business Machines, & Overstock.com. They together account for ~89% of the US long assets.

Tracking Prem Watsa's Fairfax Financial Holdings Portfolio - Q4 2015 Update - Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. (OTCMKTS:FRFHF) | Seeking Alpha

Blackberry Inc. (NASDAQ:BBRY): BBRY is Watsa's largest position at 35.17% of the US long portfolio. The stake was first purchased in 2010 at around $50 for 2M shares. Since then, the position was aggressively built up to the current stake of almost 46.7M shares (~9% of the business). His cost-basis is around $17 and the stock currently trades at $6.68. There has only been very minor activity in the last two years.
Note: In Q4 2013, Fairfax co-sponsored a cash-infusion of $1B through convertible debentures ($10 conversion price earning 6% interest) - they financed $500M of that transaction and the remaining was funded by a consortium of other investment funds - the implied dilution takes their ownership up to ~16.5% of the business.

Another Hollywood institution has fallen prey to hackers, but this time people's lives are at stake.

The FBI and Los Angeles Police Department have launched an investigation into an attack on Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center that has rendered the facility's computer network inoperable. Those responsible for the downed system are now asking the hospital to hand over $3.4 million in bitcoin in exchange for restoring the hospital's computers, according to NBC News.*

...and Tim Cook just announced that they will not cooperate and will deny the court's request. He mentioned that the government wants them to build a back door protocol system that will undermine the security and privacy of their entire user base.

I thought the NSA already had these tools at their disposal? Is Cook trying to chest pound about the security of IOS?

Yeah well I think they're taking advantage of this media hype to distort the truth.

There phones are hackable when they're not locked. When a phone is locked, than you have to know the password. But the app that locks the phone can be set to wipe everything if you miss it 10 times.

And that's the real debate! It's not the phone it's the app!
