They really need to have a meeting with all the regional heads for make sure they're sending a clear message. This one is opposing the last we heard by stating that they'll be putting out new BB10 phones?

    Sure sounds like it

What happens to the BB10 platform as you move towards Android?

We are committed to both BlackBerry operating system and Android.

A few days ago we launched an update to BB10. There will be ongoing launches for BB10 versions and phones.

Whereas the last exec to say anything said they'd be dropping BB10 in favour of Android.

What's up fellow Crackberry people! I just wanted to stop by this thread very quickly and say hello. I hope everyone is thriving in these markets. Never forget the lessons of Graham and Dodd: "Use market fluctuations to your advantage and seek a margin of safety." Best of luck to you all this year! This is still my favorite thread of all the forums.

BlackBerrys odds of success increase greatly if it ditches hardware, says Cormark
Why don't they provide advice after they know if the Priv is a success or not? Two months from now we will have a good idea. If hardware is pulling in 400M / qtr and is profitable and they don't ditch hardware ....will they still be calling for closing down hardware?

I remember when yahoo had those articles on, "which brand will die in the new year" and BlackBerry would always make the list. I'm Pretty sure the yahoo board would love to have a Chen running the show right about now. Mayer is a disaster.

Remember Mayer forced all the employees to get rid of BlackBerry Phones? Those who use Blackberrys are the most productive people. Look what happened now after being no more productive.

From Thursday, February 4th, the Priv will be available to Optus business customers and online to consumer customers on a range of post-paid plans, though, pricing details have yet to be announced.
Please tell me there is no conspiracy against BlackBerry. Why would an Android phone, and the only unique Android device at that, from a once major vendor, be relegated to online only?

Maybe because store staff are a bunch of ignorant gits, who will do their best to put folks off buying a BlackBerry...

What's wrong? The US market drops, it drags down Asia overnight, that takes down oil and the US market drops the next day. So far, there is no stock good enough to own. Hilary is winning in Iowa by a coin flip, that kills biotech, a Canadian who spent several hours in Calgary to his credit is beating Trump, no, there is nothing wrong with this market.

So now even BBRY is tired of this nonsense and moving higher against the media and "experts" who tell us to get out of all stocks. Even ECA is up today as investors are tired of listening to the world coming to an end story. The only good thing that has come out of this is Yahoo, it is performing more like it should given the lack of talent from their CEO. So let's see what can happen when investors get so tired of hearing doom and gloom and buy stocks anyway.
