Just a quick note - BBRY touched 7.68 very briefly in pre-market trading.

I wouldn't read anything into some small odd lot trades prior to the market opening. I will accept that $ 7.71/shr will be our low for this cycle if we can regain the momentum and close above the $ 7.81/shr level which is the 3-ema. We are fighting that level at this moment. The real test becomes $ 8.00/shr as we keep getting rejected at that round number (5 months now). The slayings yesterday set a negative tone for the market, we need a bit of back and fill now on the indexes to calm things down. I like bargains but not on the back of news like this. Let's see if we can close near or above that $ 7.81/shr level. GL

I left my order in for 10,000 at $ 2.03 and not only did it fill, I got more as low as $ 2.01/shr before it stopped drifting down. Under those circumstances I'm fine with that. I didn't buy more though. Today, I have purchased more at an average of $ 1.90/shr and my largest purchase will occur at $ 1.80/shr if it gets there. This is not how I want to own stock, theses shootings have to stop. It doesn't matter what price you pay for a stock that is so far away from its true value. If my average for this total round of purchases is $ 1.90/shr I'm pleased with that. I use Level II all the time and there was no hint of a block coming until it hit. We wouldn't have seen that block if it weren't for the DOW giving up all of this weeks gains and oil collapsing too. I'm surprised at how well BBRY is holding up considering the market in general is weak right now. Its time to regroup of next week.

Thanks! I've never used level II but based on your prior comments I assumed you utilized it. Yes, I agree that the world we live in is crazy! Prayers for al those affected by these horrible acts

Indeed Morgan - wishful thinking on my part in early trading! I see here now that the biggest trade today so far was 134K at 7.685. It will be interesting to see where we close. Will keep an eye out for the levels you mentioned. Cheers

The $ 7.68/shr support is holding no problem. The DOW, S&P etc., are getting creamed right now, that's 460 plus points on the DOW in a little over 24 hours.

BlackBerry is not having any problems so far, that's rare when it doesn't follow the broader market. BBRY gave up trying to rally against a plunging DOW, it dropped back on zero volume and is biding its time. Nice.

If the DOW were even on the day, BBRY would be at $ 8.00/shr..

I posted from my old passport. Then edited it with my PC. I just love this passport SE. Younger son already want one. He has the black passport for over a year. This phone is like a Ferrari. The keyboard just perfect. The speaker sounds better than any phone I heard. Close to z30 but louder. I am hoping that BlackBerry has enough sales for this model that they will promote this model more.
Priv is a great android phone. But passport SE is much better for me. The Retro/modren look. Reminds me of Microphone as attached picture. Never gets old.
