That's the first time I see this... it seems difficult to believe with that kind of device, but if it's true, Priv will be more attractive for droid people.

I really hope we will have enough phones to satisfy the demand. Android guys won't wait 2 months to have their device.

I happen to think we are setting up for another great rally here, shades of BB 10 back in late 2012. The only thing that the end of 2013 has in common with this Fall is the absolute low in the stock:



In this chart, we see a major (green) bull run in the stock that lasted until March of this year. We broke down in March, tried to rally back up and failed setting us up for a protracted sell-off that is the start of where we have landed today. In each case, we saw the lows of $ 6.00 share. The four blue down arrows show us a line that is meant to be resistance on this sell-off. If we can close above $ 7.50 we should be ready to start another major leg up once again. Last October, we rallied hard gaining $ 4.00 in little time, I think we can do that again as we approach the launch of the PRIV. Last year in mid-December, we survived Q3 earnings and went on a major bull run for 3 weeks in January and we are likely to do that again as we have been told by Chen that revenues have stopped dropping and any surprise in any of our sectors will be enough to stage a rally this time around. Remember that Chen has options at $ 8.85 a share so he needs one heck of a rally as much as we do so all systems are a go here.

If I get a chance I will post the chart that I am really excited about.

You could be right, but the dip could also be consistent with the slot between USA shutting down and Europe coming to life around 6 hours later. Without better time markers there is no way to know.

Europe coming to life? What about India? What about China? And Asia? And South America? . . .

If that were the case both charts would mimic the trend, on different scales.

I have only ever been wrong once before.

Frustrating isn't it? It would be nice to see BlackBerry talking it up and providing us with firm dates NOW! At the very least, please have enough phones on hand this time. Thanks for your timely information Corbu!

Here's my optimistic chart for the next 3 - 4 months.



We have positive Revenue numbers coming in the next two quarters, a handset that is getting plenty of buzz and a stock that is washed out now due to many quarters of media bashing. All of the selling is out of the stock and now BlackBerry is starting to see some improvements in its business plan take place. I think we are going to see a BB 10 (see blue circle) like rally for the balance of the year and into January as this story turns positive again. We have a triple bottom in at $ 6.00/shr now, it looks like it is washed out at these levels so all we need now is some catalyst to drive the stock to an over-valued price again. At $ 11.00/shr we will start to hear take-over rumours and that kind of nonsense will take it higher. Chen has talked about something North of $ 15.00/shr and so there is plenty of upside left here. We'll see, I'm sure I'm the only one that sees a major rally setting up here but if my gut feeling is worth anything, it can happen. Do your homework and don't relay on my "feelings" about this!

FWIW, I've just read that a seller is paying 650� (VAT excluded) for each Priv. We are kinda having a confirmation that this phone will cost a lot..Imo(again), too much.
