If you can't grab it directly from Amazon app :

1 / Go to the website amazon, login etc ...
2 / Search NetFlix in apps and games and select the version dated 27 October 2011 (the other is not compatible with any of my BB10)
3 / Click on "Free" and then "get it in one click"
4 / Return in the Amazon app, go to "my apps" and "cloud". Redo a sync, Netflix appears, install. Folded.
PS: On my Passport, you must adapt the zoom by a swipe of the screen top to bottom and select the rectangular zoom for all video, otherwise it is (mis) cropped.

I use 3.4.1 build 1506, but sideloaded it

The shift from upward to downward momentum starts on May 23th when the company announces the unexpected layoff. If that is the management's way of telegraphing some bad #s, they are actually putting an endorsement stamp on short sell orders. They need to pre-warn the #s if they really care about shareholders.

Nice bike! If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost both ways to Vancouver and Toronto? My wife has been bugging me for the last couple of years. Hopefully you camped at Agawa south campsite and got one of the beach front site. They have a nice view of the beach.

Agree, it would be nice to go west on that bike of yours, just don't forget Banff.
That trip to Vancouver from Toronto and back was $ 1700.00 each plus $ 1,000 in Vancouver for 2 nights. Fantastic trip for us as my father found out he had stage four cancer. He's still alive today even though he was told he have less than 7 months to live! You just have to watch for VIA specials to pop up, they can offer some trips super cheap, we didn't get the best price because we were in a hurry to book that trip. The food was out of this world good. I've been all over Alberta, we have tons of family out there and most of them ski etc., so we go often.

I did pump Blackberry! Just ask anyone on this thread. Lol

Nice to hear about your Father! Stage four isn't a cold or flu. Send him my best wishes. I will keep an eye on the specials because she and I really want to take that trip. I have also heard of the train ride that goes north of Vancouver is also nice to take. You picked a good day for boating Lake Ontario! How did it turn out? One more question, since you are the Cabot of Canada. What was the best place you visited in Canada?

I see BBRY hit its downtrend line today and headed South from there. I felt it could go to $ 8.80/shr this time around giving us an RSI=30 so today really wasn't that bad. We are at RSI=32 now so hopefully we will sell off on light volume and pop by the end of the day and go green setting us up for taking out the 3-ema.

I'm away today at the lake and while sitting dock drinking a beer, my Passport goes off and I check it for a message, the message was my BlackBerry Blend Beta updating with my PC in my office at home! That's crazy, I was actually on T-Mobile at the time and my phone synced with my PC via data. BlackBerry needs to get this kind of service out there. My wife at home can see an update of my phone activity while I'm out on the lake using a foreign data service. Does everyone else know about this?

As for my father's cancer, I spoke with another Doctor who said Dad is so old getting to Stage Four that he will die of natural causes now. My Dad is a surgeon so he is up on all of this but he never thought of it that way. His twin brother died of colon cancer so he thought he would go quickly too. We rushed that trip because he had so little time to live, who's laughing now, not me it cost me a bundle! LOL The lake is so high now, I was nervous at first but my boat handled the movement of the water no problem. Not many others out there today, I really enjoyed it.

We have traveled all over Canada but it might surprise you that my personal favourite location is just about anywhere in Newfoundland. There is just something about traveling that Province, the people are so friendly, the food is great and you see so much it is easy to drive off a cliff. My fav location there was Bay De Verde, Bay de Verde - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , there you can drive to the top of a hill, turn off your engine and sit there and listen to the whole village talk. You can hear someone step out of their house, talk to the their neighbour and then heard some fishermen arrive at the dock and talk about their catch of the day. Every single home, no matter how small and basic it is, can see whales and icebergs from their living room windows. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

    kadakn01 !!

Nice article, hope it is true. I just posted about my experience with Blend today, it is syncing with my home PC while I'm on a US network out in the middle of a lake! BlackBerry has some seriously good software out there, this Blend Beta is great. Interesting news here, we are overdue for something positive aren't we? Thanks

    This one is real.

EDITED : I just realize how ambiguous this sentence is. What I mean here is that BlackBerry already distributed "features" as Apps on Android, like BBM and they may continue in that direction for several others.
What I don't implicitly or explicitly mean is that they will BUILD an Android device.

I stand & stick to the only official statement made by BlackBerry : "We remain committed to the BlackBerry 10 operating system, which provides security and productivity benefits that are unmatched"

    Hi Morgan,

So sorry to hear about your father... it's always nice to have an opportunity to share special moments with our parents while they are still around. I have an uncle in-law who was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer at age 75 and the scans showed that is had spread throughout his entire torso and chest cavity... stage 4. He was given 6 months max and admitted to palliative care where he had to deal with a lot of issues with medication giving him nausea and seizures. He finally refused to take the meds and actually began stabilizing to the point where he was released from the hospice 6 months later! He is still alive today after 2 years and doing fine with no pain... just dealing with old age. So you never know... hmmm... maybe he might be a candidate for HALO's PEG20?

I did send you a PM but not sure if you check your inbox on this site. It's nice hearing that you know Alberta well! I'm in Calgary so do let me know if you're ever in the neighbourhood for a ski trip! My wife and I use a ski in ski out cabin at Kicking Horse that went to waste this year due to my illness in Feb.

Now back to BBRY... I've all of my holdings on the TSX in CAD$ and I'm looking to spread it out and purchase a small block in US$ but the exchange rate doesn't appear to help a this time. RSI close to 30 is sure tempting! Also wondering why this company seems to be losing their execs like Lalvani on a regular basis...one would think that they'd be able to see the potential of Blackberry and the turnaround ahead?

Exclusive: BlackBerry may put Android system on new device: sources | Business | Reuters

    By Euan Rocha

TORONTO (Reuters) - BlackBerry BB.TO is considering equipping an upcoming smartphone with Google Inc.'s GOOGL.O Android software for the first time, an acknowledgement that its revamped line of devices has failed to win mass appeal, according to four sources familiar with the matter.

The move would be an about-face for the Waterloo, Ontario-based company, which had shunned Android in a bet that its BlackBerry 10 line of phones would be able to claw back market share lost to Apple's AAPL.O iPhone and a slew of devices powered by Android.

The sources, who asked not to be named as they have not been authorized to discuss the matter publicly, said the move to use Android is part of BlackBerry's strategy to pivot to focus on software and device management. BlackBerry, which once dominated smartphone sales, now has a market share of less than 1 percent.

It is not clear whether a move to use Android would spell the end of the company's BlackBerry 10 line of devices that were initially launched to much fanfare in early 2013. After positive early reviews, the late-to-launch BlackBerry devices haven't competed well with Android or Apple, mainly due to a lack of big name apps.

"We don't comment on rumors and speculation, but we remain committed to the BlackBerry 10 operating system, which provides security and productivity benefits that are unmatched," said the company in an email.

A Google spokeswoman declined to comment.

BlackBerry Chief Executive John Chen is banking on the company's new device management system, BES12, that allows corporate and government clients to not only manage BlackBerry devices on their internal networks, but also devices powered by Android, Apple's iOS platform and Microsoft Corp's MSFT.O Windows operating system.

One of the hurdles it faces in that transformation is convincing big customers that its device management software works across many different platforms.

Two sources said that by launching an Android-based device of its own, BlackBerry would be sending a signal to skeptics that it is confident that the BES12 system can not only manage, but also secure smartphones and tablets powered by rival operating systems.

BlackBerry will probably use Android on an upcoming slider device that is likely to be released this autumn, two sources said. The slider will combine a touch screen with a physical keyboard that users can use if they prefer.

BlackBerry briefly showed off the slider device on stage at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in March, but it has provided little detail on it since then.

By making an Android device that boasts a large touchscreen and a physical keyboard, BlackBerry hopes to snag a niche in the touchscreen-dominated Android market. The device may attract those still using older BlackBerry keyboard handhelds but who want access to the larger app options Android offers.

    HARDWARE CONUNDRUM

Two sources said that if BlackBerry moves forward on a plan to launch an Android device, it could come with some of the patented features in its BlackBerry 10 operating system.

In March, BlackBerry announced that it planned to deliver its patented security, productivity and communication tools to any mobile device running iOS, Android or Windows.

The company, which a while ago opened its popular BlackBerry Messaging app to those using rival operating systems, has said it plans to offer more in-house features on rival devices, including BlackBerry Hub and the predictive text capabilities of its virtual keyboard.

Chen in March said the company was still committed to its own devices business.

Since that time however, BlackBerry has cut headcount in its hardware unit even further. The company, which at a 2011 peak employed 17,500 people and in February was down to 6,225, said last month that it was making further cuts on the device side, without providing any numbers.
