    Otherwise, good posting!

I would expect Chen to cover that in the call.

    • BBRY is halted from premarket trade until 7:30 ET.
    • Earnings call at 8 ET.
And of course, from CB homepage :
After weeks of mixed sentiment surrounding the company from analysts, BlackBerry has now announced their Year-End and Q4 Fiscal 2015 results. Last quarter, Executive Chairman and CEO John Chen noted BlackBerry would be shifting focus to expanding their distribution and driving revenue growth and this is the first look at how well they've done in that area.
Revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015 was approximately $660 million, including a negative $12 million impact from currency fluctuation. The revenue breakdown for the quarter was approximately 42% for hardware, 47% for services and 10% for software. During the fourth quarter, the Company recognized hardware revenue on approximately 1.3 million BlackBerry smartphones. Approximately 1.6 million BlackBerry smartphones were sold through to end customers, with an ASP of $211 compared to $180 in the previous quarter.

Guys, I' believe I cannot follow this extensively as my work schedule is exploding.
I read good news, I like the EPS and cash still positive, SW+services over 50% of revenues: a lot.
I believe we're right on path, with real life obstacles/slowdowns that no one should be surprised to see here in the global crisis context.

    I'm longer than ever.
Cheers and GL for those playin' the trade.

How did he save $150M in costs to get to a profit? Everyone was expecting a small loss with $800 million in revenue. It will be interesting to see how the market responds to this.

Yah the ASP is almost shockingly low. Means most of those included were deeply discounted first gen bb10 phones.

I think I heard a lot of Q10s were given away with BES12 commitments, Canadian gov IIRC. Maybe there was more similar deals? ASP of $300 would make all the numbers look good.

The concern is the hardware is positive due to moving previously heavily written down phones and new phone sales are weak.

Not as much phones sold that I expected, but the ASP is better and it's a good news.

Waiting for the call now, I'm sure it will be interesting!

EW YORK (TheStreet) –– BlackBerry (BBRY - Get Report) swung to a profit in the fourth quarter, as the John Chen-led company appears to be turning its fortunes around, led by the sale of new devices. For the fourth quarter, BlackBerry earned an adjusted 4 cents a share on $660 million in revenue, as the company shipped 1.6 million smartphones. Analysts were expecting the Waterloo, Ontario-based company to lose 4 cents a share on $793.69 million in revenue.

Yes, we're all ready to start this rollercoaster of a day. For someone that is long BBRY, I'm not too concerned. It would have been nice if they had met some revenue expectations, but that's the all point of it, isn't it? Growth?

I see rebuilding and slow growth, I'm long confident in BBRY.

It is going to be very rocky today. The numbers on software and services show promising signs but are quite low. And, now we know why Chen continues to put cheap cpu's into the phones.

The low phone sales mean that the z3 was not a success and the Passport had low volume. They really need a break out phone.
