Is BBRY shopping a new logo at MWC? If so, this is a very smart move. The old logo was too bland. this thing pops! Make the outline the busy icon!

Could be a representation of $BBRY 's new focus on the four pillars of their business model now. And I agree, it does make the logo feel more approachable.

Also, first time posting here after lurking around for the past couple of years. I'm not a investor (yet), but the things I've learned from everyone in here has nonetheless been indispensable. Keep it up and help us investing plebs understand the game better.

With all these electronic payment options in cell phones come to the forefront... wonder what will happen to Visa, MasterCard, Amex, etc..... if they will somehow be part of this form of payment, or... eventually be eliminated?

They own the network, they aren't going anywhere. The data on the device needs to be secured though and that's where a secure sandbox comes in.

All these releases sound great, and can see the new $$$$ coming into the company in the near future, but wonder if they had released all these goodies, 1 week apart, for example... if the value of the stock would have more of a positive gain and stand on higher ground.

Well, it seems that, on BBRY stock, the market is only looking at short term revenues.

We'll see better on the 27th, and 3 months later. If everything's on the right way (revenues, results, margin) things could change quickly in my mind.

And does the competition Have a response. BlackBerry is making it look like they have all the bases covered and then some. Will make chosing another vendor hard to justify, especially If the price is right.

For those of you that think the stock is not performing well here, you need to appreciate the fact that we have closed above resistance at today's level only 4 other times in the past 12 months. If it takes all day to clear this monstrous resistance level, what's the big deal? When we clear it, we need to hold those gains this time around and begin a long and prosperous rally. I don't care if it takes 5 trading days to clear it, the more resistance, the greater the rally when it becomes clear to traders/investors that we are moving to a new channel range.



All systems are a go for a sustainable rally here, be patient. The resistance is at $ 11.10/shr on a closing basis, the market is open for 6.5 hours today, plenty of time to drive it much higher. The channel over the past 12 months will give way to a higher channel soon, let it happen and enjoy the developing positive TA signs. From the look of things, it will be happening today. Let's try to go the whole afternoon without any negative thoughts while the stock is working on breaking out of a very long sideways pattern!

I'm just waiting for announcements about the next iteration of BBRY smart phones to come. I love my z30 but wouldn't mind terribly upgrading for the fun of it . I know a couple folks voiced concern that all of this interweaving of bbry security on every os might kill off the need for bbry smartphones unless there is some additional layer of security added on them to set them apart. Any thoughts there? I'd hate to loose my BlackBerry as it has been an amazing wingman as of late ( the joys of being 26 and single lol)
