BES5/10 to BES12 numbers:

BES5/10 (pre BES12): 8M

BES12 (legacy converts) 70% of 6.1M = 4.23 + BES12 (competitor converts): 30% of 6.1M = 1.83

So they converted 50% of legacy, but have 75% of legacy numbers due to migrations from Good/MobileIron coming to BES12.

Be interesting how many of the remaining 50% legacy they can convert.

I thought they said one more Q of lower revs. If they are selling Classics and Passports, and Z3 and can hit 2M sales Q4 revs would have to be much higher than this Q even after SAF declines.

Are they keeping it down in the 9.2x so that the open will trigger a bunch of stop losses, then trigger break in support lines, and then trade amongst themselves (as they always do) to push the stock low low low and THEN cover? This looks like a classic V pattern in the making with the big funds coming in at the bottom to make the easy money. I'm all out of money.

Ok so Chen said he plans to remain cash flow positive and making money.

So how much is the business worth? SP doesn't make sense at all in the 9s. 3.1B in cash and they have completed their purchases of Movirtu and Secusmart. Those are additional revenue stream adds (the first in BES service, the second to hardware rev/margin).

I still think the Passport was released as a "wake up call" to the enterprise players. The classic is being produced by Foxconn so we shouldn't see any significant supply restrictions.

No one is going to let us off the hook today for those revenue numbers. When CBC reports a $ 200 MM loss in this quarter, you know the kind of media we are dealing with here.

But take a moment to look at what members like Spiller and S-Fly are saying, the revenue is in Q4 not Q3 and the rest of it is really good news. So we didn't fire on all cylinders, we did get a ton of information of out Chen today. It's worth going back to listen to that webcast again. He addresses the new software model, QNX revenue potential and many topics that we knew nothing about. In a world without Morgan Stanley, we would be fairing much better today.

Just give it some time my friends.

I would go get a coffee or look at some soft porn for at least 10 more minutes here as the stock usually revisits its low which is $ 9.10/shr at the moment. It's hard to know how they will push the stock at the beginning because they have a built in profit on these trades. After they see no follow through, they cover. I'm watching for a retest here. If after 10 minutes and it is stable you can look at a trade. GL
