Those are the contract prices. The off contact prices are :

    6 - $749/$859/$969
    6+ - $859/$969/$1079

These prices are the same at the big three.

Only true iSheeps would pay this much for iphone, on top of this case, cables, another $50. Who the hell would spend this kinda money on phone which only good for year or two. The replacement cycle is getting shorter, old days phone would be good for 3-4 years, now 1-2 years. Not just because they die but we materialistic spoiled society just want to have new phone for whatever reason and those reasons can be so stupid..

That's why we need a real 4 th player in canada to keep those 3 honest because that is definitely price fixing.

Maybe it is price fixing but it's as likely that pricing was dictated by Apple itself.

I doubt that, apple stated the prices in there keynote and have there prices right on there site. This is the carriers trying to make a quick buck

Most likely Apple expects the Carriers to make less margin on their products than other handsets. Arrogance....

Exactly, apple wants all the margin to themselves.

Hopefully the carriers add on $300 and tell customers it's because Apple is greedy.

"We have well-priced BlackBerrys with great specs and the best OS on the market over here, though"

...okay that last part is not likely.

From the "QNX Car2 news" and "pitfalls of being a white label provider" files... (I think):

Earlier this year GM announced a new development platform for it's cars. GM invited developers to join to build apps for GM's cars. From what little I could find at the time, it looked as if GM was using a white-labeled version of QNX's development tools. GigaOM just reported the other day that GM is giving up on that platform and is now going to rely on Apple and Google's car platforms and developers for apps.

Step it up BlackBerry! White label isn't that cool if you do all the hard work, get paid peanuts, and get no recognition by those willing to shell out big dough.

Well I read somewhere that Apple is pushing car manufacturers to remove the entire in-car entertainment system / dashboard. The idea is that the Apple Watch will basically replace all functionality...

No, no.. I made that up.
