This 'Boy Genius' has been down on BlackBerry and blatantly pumping Apple for the last year. As I said, my suspicion is that he owns shares now. )

Good morning all. I figured I'd throw up a chart for what I see. As Morgan has pointed out, we are still overbought so that will need to ease a bit and I think it will need to consolidate a tad after a steep rise. I leave my old lines so please excuse some of the mess. I like to revisit what I saw, or at least thought I saw, to review accuracy and learn from mistakes and correct thoughts.

From Financial Post - BlackBerry Ltd tapping into ?Internet of Things? for more than just buzz

"What you?re seeing now, amongst other things, is the realization amongst market participants that [BlackBerry] may not face-plant altogether,? said Douglas Pollitt, an analyst at Toronto-based Pollitt & Co., who owns BlackBerry stock.

Additional OT material from the Related Technologies and Security files. For deep reflection even though the author seems to be strong on Apple and does not yet seem to know that BB exists. Scary stuff if access by potential psychopaths, breakdown of a Health app or even programs that indicate individual location of people in the home, etc -- thus should militate for assuring solid security methods and equipment. A brand known for its security comes to mind...

    Morning Chaps,

Some interesting facts about one of our competitors. Notice the point about Gold Sachs involvement. Didn't they just try to kick BlackBerry to the curb? No conflicting interest there.

    http://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MOBL
    >Mobile Iron (MOBL) is a "sleeper IPO" brought by Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
    >Yet recently, operating losses are increasing again as growth has seen a sudden halt.
    >We suggest investors hold off on MOBL?s IPO, given a tough environment for tech stocks, stiff competition, and MOBL?s overpaying its executives, while the firm still has to prove itself.
    >Sales increased 158% to $106 million in 2013 vs 2012, with a 31% loss rate in 2013. However, sales increased only 9% to $28 million for Q1 '14.

    Check out this 5-day drop:

Does anyone want to comment on some catalysts for bbry to continue this rise in SP in the next 6 months.

    1) Z3 Sales numbers are good
    2) Passport and classic launch
    3) BES12 Launch
    4) Blackberry Blend
    5) 10.3
    6) Project Ion launch
    7) BBM for windows and BBM protected launch

is there any other catalysts that i have missed

Nice list! They might not be catalysts, but we could see:

    - continued monetization of BBM
    - advancement of mobile payments and transfers
    - greater adoption of QNX

Good list....added some dates for clarity:

July - BES12 beta rollout expansion.
July - BBM to Windows phone.
    September - BBM Meetings.
    September - Passport Launch.
    October/November - Classic Launch.
November - BES12 Launch (biggest product launch of the year for Blackberry)
    December - QNX Cloud/Project Ion

Sorry those are product catalysts. Others include the obvious:

    Positive financial results.
    A major analyst upgrade.
An uptick in BB10 sales. Namely the market is looking for a bottoming of sales declines followed by an uptick.
