Wait until next quarter after they've sold the Z3 into Indonesia.

If they capture even 1 percent of that market, they'll blow their current sales numbers out of the water.

Is that a Z30...yes, yes it is.

Curious on BES uptake, this will set the stage for the future.

    CB10'n it via da Z
BES uptake is not going to be as good as desired. But Chen will counter that BES12 is what customers want.

I want to see some other press releases today to add some fuel.

I can't read financials but didn't it say $250M of the cash burn added additional assets? Can someone explain that piece?
In a nutshell, cash flow is all about sources and uses of cash, from operations, financing or capital activities. If assets go up, that means you used cash to buy it. (ie cash burn) Assets go down you converted it to cash. Liabilities are the opposite. If liabilities go up, you took out a loan and therefore have more cash. Liabilities go down, you used cash to pay it down.

They aren't going to sell 28 million units of a single device in a single market, didn't we leave that sort of fantasy behind??

    1%, not 10%.

If they sell 2.8 million units just into Indonesia, it would be a new high watermark for BB10 sales.

I agree on the hardware front. It's concerning, but let's see how the Z3 sells but even then, one phone isn't going to make up for the worldwide slump BBRY hardware is seeing.

My mistake, I was looking at mobile subscribers (@280 million) rather than handset sales - actually looking I can't find a definite number for handset sales.

BlackBerry Ltd plans to introduce high-end smartphones that cater to keyboard aficionados in the coming 18 months, in an effort to win back core corporate and government clients who have shunned the company's touch-screen devices.

Chief Executive John Chen said in an interview that the company's engineers have designed at least three different next-generation handsets that are being "kicked around right now."

"The focus is going to be very keyboard centric," said Chen, the former Sybase CEO who took the reins of the Canadian company just over four months ago.

Chen, viewed by tech industry insiders as a turnaround artist, wants BlackBerry to zero in on its core base of corporate and government clients, and on its services arm, which secures mobile devices on the internal networks of big clients.
