Interesting price action for the call options expired 2/28/14 (tomorrow). The SP dropped $0.11 but all the call options for the strike price at and above $9 have been increased.

What does that tell us?

It tells us that there is alot people that are betting on a good day tomorrow and dont mind paying a small premium on there call options

or the shorts are just hedging there position just in case Chen kicks them in the nuts tomorrow

I think shorts hedging as same goes for April calls. If so many bulls buying calls why sp has not gone up?

I'm not predicting but... if there is any inkling of an uptake in BES, increase in revenues from QNX and or device sales bottoming out this baby's going up tomorrow.

Gov works VERY slowly...years of meetings, testing, more meets about the testing, executive inquiries, have another meeting, beta testing, meeting, then the big battle...budget...Yup, more meetings.

It will get done and everything you mention will happen, just takes time.

True. And I am one of those workers so I know. But of ALL organizations the Canadian Gov should have expedited this to support a struggling tech company. It would be a better boost and a cheaper alternative than lending or giving them money.

Lol...I'm in rehab from a long stint there too. I think 15 months from launch of BB10 and what, 11 months for BES 10 is expedited

Came across this and thought I'd share it. Fwiw.

10 Things I want to hear Chen say on the conference call, or see in a press release before market open (I'll be happy with half):

1. Canadian real estate sale closes March 28 for $700M. (They couldn't report it during the blackout period so had to close a few weeks later)
2. Z3 launches in Indonesia March 31. Estimating 1-2M (1.5M) Z3 sales in Indonesia for Q1.
3. Canada government enters contract to purchase XX thousand BB10 devices and migrate all government devices to BB10 / BES 10 by end of calendar 2014.
4. CORE has just about wrapped up (and Q4 financials includes all severance packages to complete the planned downsizing.)
5. Google agreement for Play Services when 10.3 releases in October. This gets people buying BB10 devices now so isn't a 'bad' leak.
6. Chen says that they expect cash burn bottomed last quarter, was 200M this Q, and will be very close to cash flow neutral by Q3.
7. Chen says he expects cash has bottomed at 3B (1.75B net debt)
8. Chen says they expect to be able to monetize BBM quicker and with more revenue than first expected, with Channels contracts ramping up, stickers, and upcoming BBM money transfers. Customers are very interested in eBBM and show good monetization opportunity. Active monthly users at 90M. Revenues increasing.
9. Chen says QNX is starting to prove it already owns the automobile space, and it will only increase market share, and they can make better deals to monetize the car infotainment space. Revenues increasing. QNX will be the core of M2M as they look for opportunities to expand an increase revs outside of the device and automobile space. Good things in the pipeline he can't talk about.
10. DoD contract signed for 100K BB10 devices by end of calendar 2014.
