Apple is not the only one. The carriers are offering all kind of special gimmicks.

Cell phones sales are tough right now. The market is saturated. The carriers are having to fight to gain new customers.

If only this could be a BlackBerry 10 booth with the new phones and a strong focus on the BB10 OS. I'm sure it would be expensive, but it's worth it for this station in this city. Huge traffic and thousands and thousands BB7 users. I'd spend the money on this spot as soon as the Z3 comes out at least.

Piece on Apple Car play in french media, not a word about how QNX being the underneath layer that supports it all. The author actually goes to the extent of saying how Car play is the bridge between the phone and the car, as if the car entertainment center ran on thin air...

No surprise Apple is going to get great exposure out of this.

Unless the world, as we know it ends today, the cross happens tomorrow! Its like saying, "Nobody remembered my birthday" ............ when in fact your birthday is not until tomorrow. Just relax and let it happen. All the TA gurus in the world will know tomorrow that BBRY is trading above it's 50-dma and it's 50-dma is above its 200-dma. The 50-dma is at $ 9.34/shr/US as BT pointed out and it is going to pull away from the 200-dma by a nickle a day for weeks to come. The stock will follow the 50-dma and the 200-dma will stop turning downward, flatten out and start to head higher. This is all bullish. The volume is light, we tried to touch the 50-dma/200-dma=$ 9.34/shr/US this morning and couldn't get there. When the 200-dma and the 50-dma are heading higher, the stock rallies for any old reason at all. It would be nice to see BBRY rally for no apparent reason and that is coming. Furthermore, the stock forms its first uptrend line and we know where to trade it for the next 12 months. It should be noted that the last time we touched the 50-dma, it was under $ 7.00/shr/US. Let it happen.

I also had the urge and did chime-in on the Montreal article in LaPresse. Occasionally their Editor is present at some of the conferences (related to Energy) where I attend. I am tempted at times to tell him that some of the journalists are overpaid as not doing what basically they should be doing. But that's just me -- but still thinking about it. You know what they say about the best painters, which could also be said of smart phones suppliers and journalists. The good ones borrow the ideas and the masters steal them (even Steve Jobs boasted of this), but unfortunately too many are not even good at copying. Sorry for my rant on journalists, I regularly see too many examples in several different fields.
