    That's where we differ in opinion I guess. A bunch of other companies also think differently, namely Jolla, Mozilla. Ubuntu, Samsung, pre-Elop Nokia, Microsoft, etc.

    And which of those is a global commercial success?

    How many of those would die if Google decides to be a little less open with their Android ecosystem?

    Sadly you could combine all (other than Windows) of their quarterly sales.... BB10, Sailfish, Firefox, Tizen. And combined they wouldn't equal what BlackBerry was selling in one quarter back in 2010 when they "decided" to go QNX.
