I am currently using the otterbox case. It holds on well...is a bit bulky, but I like that it is protected with the rubber insert. Well.....the front cover is broken. It has a crack on the top and evidently a crack on the bottom....and now snapped in half on the bottom. Luckily...my trusty friend super glue is holding it together until I find a replacement.

Before using the otterbox; by which I spent dang near $40 on at an at&t store....I purchased regular hard snap on cases. By which were horrible. They had little notches where the phone slides and seemed to constrict with the sliding.

So...I've been searching for a replacement for at least the front piece...but I read horrible reviews on a lot of them.

Help me out....let me know what cases you have used or are using and where I can purchase a good one at a good price?

I use a Seidio Innocase Surface on my phone. There is the same thing available at Best Buy but for less...Seidio makes it, but doesn't put their name on it. You can also get the AGF GRT case...they make a number of them and a lot of the people here on CB really like them. If you like the protection of a case plus a holster, Seidio makes one that fits the surface and the active case. AGF GRT makes a case called the ENDO and a holster as well. Hope this helps. Good luck with your shopping.

    Easy Cowboy.... check out http://forums.crackberry.com/f39/pos...uidelines-113/

Use the Site Search and Forum Search
If you have a basic question that needs answering, depending on the specifics, there’s a good chance the answer might already be posted in the forums and/or elsewhere on the site. We’ve assembled a lot of the basic blackberry FAQs on the site, and with the forums growing daily there is a lot of knowledge accumulating in the database. Doing site searches before posting will help keep things efficient.

This being said, did you try searching for an answer to your question, before starting a new thread? I only ask, because i know there are at least 5 other threads about torch cases... did you search these, did you read them? what, did you not like the answers that were posted there, and hoped you would get different answers in this thread???

The general guideline in the forums is always to try and search beforehand... The mentality of "if you build in, they will come" is not always the best method, as chances are your question has already been answered, several times...

Look, I'm not looking to start a debate, merely pointing out the guidelines... Had you searched first, you would have found:

I've been looking for a case too and the ENDO GRT by far looks like the best and seems to be very highly recommended but I just have one question: how is it for stuff like dust and dirt? Will I have to take the case off once in a while to clean off junk like that off the phone?

It would depend on what environment the device is being used... If you work in construction for example, then I would recommend removing the device, and cleaning it from time to time. Keep in mind that with any case, scratched are not always from direct impact, but can result from debris getting between the device and the case itself.

I use the ENDO case / holster, and have not had any issues. I also use a screen protector, just in-case.

If you want to be extra safe, i used the ZAGG invisibleSHIELD full body (easy install), with my AGF GRT case, and it fit great, and was double protected...

I already have the ZAGG InvisiShield on my phone, was the first accessory I bought for it.

Well, its not for me, its for the GF - she has the otterbox, but doesn't like the clunky-ness of it, so I passed along the AGF-GRT idea, and I think she likes it. I like that everyone says its pretty sturdy, because as much as I love my lady, she can be a bit clumsy sometimes... lol

    Thanks again!

I'm amazed at how much money some folks are spending on these cases. I bought a no-name two piece plastic case (similar to the AGF GRT) for less than $3 shipped to me by Amazon.com and it works brilliantly. I broke the first one, so I have a total of less than $10 invested in cases. Screen protectors were 3 for $.99 or something.

I tried the "no-name" 2-piece case when I got my Torch last December. The case kept popping off the phone.

I got the AGF-GRT as a "seller reconditioned" on eBay for less than half retail, and love it. It's actually a little slimmer than the no-name, and since the top of the case attaches to the bottom of the case itself, it stays on better.

    Remember, YMMV!

The thing I don't like about the cheap cases is they clip directly to the device, separating the slider from the device. The GRT and ENDO attach to themselves, and won't wear down the device...
