They're the only thing I kept from my 9700. I've listened to a lot of headphones and these actually sound very full bodied with a good mix of bass and treble. Sound staging is accurate as well.

    Who makes them?

You guys really liked those? I thought they were crap. And it's not like I'm rocking the high end stuff either...the ones I prefer are the Philips ones you buy at Target for $10 to $20. Guess I could try them again though.

my premium earphones worked for about a week then my left earbud blew... they were ok for a free set, these earphones were probably design and made by rim to my knowledge

I've had two blackberries and both sets turned out to be COMPLETE CRAP!!! Don't get me wrong, if they were built better, they would be great earphones, but they break so easily.

See mine sound great, and I'm comparing them to material played through my stereo setup in my living room. Def Tech BP7006's, Pioneer Elite Reciever and Pioneer Elite BluRay player. Maybe it just varies....

I've heard a lot of people saying good things about VModa's

Yeah, I like the one's that came with mine. (same set from the 8900 and the 8220). I like them better than normal sets, since I can actually answer a phone call with them on.

i have two pairs of them. one that came with my 9000 and the one that came with my 9700. i dont really like them because theyre uncomfortable, even after changing the sizes. i just use the earbuds that came with the iphone that i sold a while back and they work great.

Plugged them in once and been collecting dust since then....I rock my Koss Pro's 99% of the time. That or my Bose ones, which are my desktop computers that I got for free, which rock! And I generally don't like Bose stuff...

The headphones on the 9700 are rubbish well pretty much most headphones which come with phones are. Always use my Shure SE530 which I will never get rid off sound immense using them with the phone does give of great quality but the bold is no Audiophile dream.

How long have you had them and how well do they hold up? I read reviews on Amazon about something similar from the same company and reviews said they sounded great but broke a lot.
