So I"m just curious here. I know there are a lot of cases out there, and some are more for looks, whereas others are like a tank, and then there are the designer cases that some tools spend $250 on. Just curious about what kind of cases you all have. I had a Seidio innocase on my first Curve, and sold it on ebay when I sold that Curve. Now I have another one, just becauae I liked the case.

For one... The otterbox performs well it just looks like $h!t (IMO) and others look good but perform badly as you have mentioned.

Basically if I had to go choose (and I have):

-OEM basic silicone cases (nothing beats classic shock protection)
-Seidio Innocases (because unlike the otterboxes it doesn't cover the screen, which is a good thing)
-Aircraft grade aluminum cases (which for you Bold owners -if you haven't noticed- is offered right here along the sidepanels)

Basically though for just regular protection I go for the basic silicoe for average use. Now if I have to go to work or go to the gym I throw on an Innocase on my Bold since it is pretty good against: scratches, shock, and mild roughness. However when I'm out on the town and on a date and want to impress I go for CB's Aluminum case for the Bold which has a padded interior to fit the Bold like a glove.

Anyways that's jut my 2 cents.

Hate adding any size to my bb, so I just use a Seidio holster. Not the innocase, just the bare holster.

Don't get the RIM-branded swivel holster. Mine broke in just a few weeks and a Google search revealed these things break all the time.

OtterBox defender. Nothing else protects your phone as well. I don't even cringe when I drop it. Pockets are for lint...get a holster.

I bought a silicone skin for $10, kept the original screen protector,
and feel my phone is free of major damage, dents and scratches.

The silicone skin softens blows from drops to prevent dents
around all the edges and the back. The screen protector
    keeps the screen scratch free.

Only the keypad and trackball become vulnerable to dust and dirt.

No case for me. Originally used a Case Mate case, but got sick of any form of bulk. I guess this is why I have insurance

I'm using a black Seidio Innocase Surface on my Bold. Looks good and gives the phone a better grip, in my opinion.

I dont have anything yet!!! I was think a hard case but dont want to cover up the color of my BB(i have the pink curve). Silicone also would be colored(even clear white, it still has white). I thought about just a pouch but just cant decided! I look daily on ebay and other sites but yeah..... just cant decided!

I used the OEM pouch for a LONG time because it protected the phone in my pocket and whenever I had it laying around. Now I'm rocking a silicone black case on my 8330 which makes my phone looks great. The case covers the phone keys, the menu and back keys. Only down side is the blacklight doesn't show thru. But great case nonetheless (my fiance got it for me lol)

I went with a silicone case - I like that it protects the sides & corners if I drop it, and the rubberized texture keeps it from sliding off of surfaces too easily. Had to go with a little bling from DayDeal.com, though...
