I have an Incipio Feather but just recently added a leather case/holster to go along with it. The Feather is thin enough to allow it to fit in the leather case.

I prefer the original Blackberry cases, heavy duty leather pouch or clip holder, currently rocking both back and forth from work to going out.

I am a big fan of Seidio and had the Innocase for my Curve and went with one for my Storm as well and love it. Highly recommend!

Seido has saved me several times, I've dropped my phone on hard concrete and the case seperated. But, my phone didn't have a scratch on it.

Otterbox for sure... I drop my phone way too much so I need every bit of protection.

+1 for the Case Mate Smart Skin. Good protection and reasonable size.

Also tried the Otterbox v2 and liked the protection but returned it because of the watermark and audio jack restriction. Would be interested in an Otterbox v3 if it appears.

I like these, it wont slide into all pockets but certainly adds a small bit of protection without high cost and keeps the storms size reasonable
What i used. get pink white and black cases for i think it was 12.00

No hassle. Got bored of the leather pouch lol.

As wonderful as the Otterbox case is, the OP was asking about something thin, light, and easily placed in a pocket - the Otterbox is none of those. My vote for a case that fits the OP's wants is for the Seidio offerings. I used their products when I had a BB Pearl (on both T-Mo and VZW), and found the build quality to be superb. (Having said that, I use an Otterbox on my Storm)

Look no further... To think they would make a simple case with a thin clip to fit in your pocket. I was looking for a week and finally found.. Great price too...

search for "LEATHER CASE BELT CLIP for BLACKBERRY STORM" on ebay

I use silcone skins. I know that they can be tricky getting in and out of a pocket, but the hard cases are a pain when you have to do a battery pull.

I utilize the Seido Innocase II and chose it after extensive research.
I have found it to be very satisfactory. I light and sturdy case.
If you need something more bulky to protect your BB look at the Incipio Silicrylic.
I looked at the incipio feather, but I did not choose it because it didn't seem to offer protection to the bottom of the phone.

They are polar opposites in terms of protection. If you want some daily wear and tear protection, Feather. If you need hardcore drop/damage protection, Otterbox.

    Hey All,

Ive been searching the forums looking for some advice on buying a case for my storm. I am looking for something that is thin, protective but still slides in and out of the pocket easily. Ive tried the soft cases from verizon and liked them except for not being able to slide it into your pocket very easily. If there is a post about this already please point me in the right direction, but if not give me your opinions. Thanks in advance.
I have the blue casemate "barely there case" and I think its great. I get loads of compliments from it and its not bulky like most cases, hence "barely there"..lol

I don't think the otterbox is even close to being an option to fulfill the OP's criteria..

I wish there was an otterbox "lite" or something to that effect.

I just use the leather case for it. Simple, does what it needs to do. I used a skin, but made my phone heat up causing friction.

Used a black back case thing... and it made the phone bulky.
