I'm just wondering because I don't want to spend the extra cash for a defender case to have a rugged locking belt clip so I'm hoping that someone has used this combo and could shine a little light on my situation.
I would likethis combo so I could keep my seidio ext battery in the cOmmuter but have an outdoors case.

    Any advice would be helpful
    Thanks

I have the Commuter and I use it with the belt clip from Seidio. It works almost like they were designed together. The case is just a tiny bit larger than the Seidio case, so the clip lock is tough to work, but you can manage. In the six months I've been using this combo, I've only locked the clip once. The clip is that good. Try it.

Yes. No modification required. The clip has the magnet, just like the leather holster that came with the phone, so the phone goes to standby when it's latched in place.
