I had a Verizon Tour 9630 and switched to the Bold 9700 on AT&T. I had a few chargers for the tour... is there any reason why I shouldn't try to use the charger that was intended for the tour with my 9700? They seem physically the same other than the tour coming with international charging adapter prongs.. any one know?

You can use any micro usb charger. same goes for data cables. I used to use my PS3 wireless controller cord to charge my old 8330.

There is a difference of 100mA between home chargers for the tour and bold 9700 and voltage is the same. What is really critical is the voltage rating. Amp rating means it can deliver up to that amount of amps but it depends on the load which is in this case is the phone itself.
We should be ok using a tour charger on the BB Bold 9700.
