There are some accessories now available (no longer coming soon) on shopblackberry.com for the US! Perhaps a launch is very, very close. Still, as much as I would love to get this from T-Mo for Christmas, I think AT&T wins again!

Hey how does the Charging Pod works ? Does it work like eletronic Brushes ?

Because the Charging pod is on the right side.

Unfortunately I am not allowed to link to the Charging Pod

I believe the charging cradle uses contacts on the back of the phone.
Much like current household wireless phones.

I have the 8900 but there is noe connection posibility at the back. Only a mic... thats it. You can see it on the 360 view for the 8900 on the Blackberry.com Website.

The metal contacts that sandwich the battery door latch are there for charging purposes along with the micro USB port.

Does Anybody know If there is a external Charger for the secondary battery ?
I can just find these chargers for other models.

BTW is there a other BB which uses the same battery model ?

(Sorry for DP but otherwise this thread gets to old and to low to answer)

There will be a power station for the 8900, that will charge the BB, an extra battery and the Blackberry (plantronics) Bluetooth headset.

It is not available yet though.

And is this possible to run it trough the 12V from the car ?
Because I driving often from one meeting to the other so it is kind of unhandy if you keep on unplugin and plugin the BB so often. And because I am using Bluestooth troughout the day it uses alot of the battery. So the best would be If I could just change the used one whenever it is low of charge.
