Yup.. Well... the OP survey was sort of a no-brainer! I'm thinking we won't see a response of:
"No thanks, I'll use my current OEM standard battery even though a higher capacity battery is available with same OEM standard battery dimesions."

I'd love to have an extended battery, but I would like it the same size...BUT, the one they made for the 8100 or 8120 (I can't remember which one it was) has a NEW BACK that bulges out quite a bit. It looks bad from the picture but the reviewer said it actually made holding the phone better, more secure because they could get a better grip.

Are you working on a normal sized battery with more power or the fatter battery with the budging cover...or both?

Seidio is considering to develop an OEM sized extended battery for BB8130. If you are interested in this battery, please post here.

hmmm... a glimmer of hope is rekindled.

Perhaps seidioseidio can clarify if this proposed extended battery is intended to have the same physical dimensions as the OEM standard.

His original post says OEM sized battery... Which would mean its the same size, most likely a higher MAH rating. (larger energy/charge capacity) than the original battery. My .2 Anyway.

My feeble ol' mind still thinks it would have been more definitive if he had said "extended capacity battery with same size as 8130 OEM standard capacity battery"
