Hey everyone, got a question for ya.

I just received my Seidio Hybrid case for my 8310 and was wondering how much of a pain it is to take the case off if I need to do a battery pull??

Something I just thought of before I put the case on.

I ended up breaking my case because of battery pulls. Be careful.

    +1 for the soft reset.
I don't know if I'm a ****, but I couldn't get the ctrl, alt, del to work on my pearl. The softreset clears the same amount of memory for me as a battery pull.

I have the same case on my 8310. At first, it is a little difficult to remove, but after a dozen times or so, it becomes easier to do. I find that I rarely need a battery pull and a soft reset will do the job.

Alt caps delete, does a soft reset I do it again and it does a hard reset in which I never take the case off

its alt shift del, not alt tab :-)

Also, i just read about it and it actually worked! you have to push alt shift del, then the screen goes blank, the instant it comes back you have to do it once more, then you get the hourglass and the restart (hard reset) which "should" be the equivalent of a battery pull.

alt , the right caps button del button will reboot it, on a curve 8310 i noticed it does a soft reset, reboots no hour glass, do it again and it does a hard reboot, hour glass spinning white screen for 2ish min, and my memory is back to normal
