They're not seidio brand, but considering how cheap the seidio door is anyways, i don't really think that's a problem...

I think his point is, you have to use a cheap battery door to use a better battery. So they are making a cheap product so it breaks and they can bone you on the replacement. Telling him they don't sell it and to go elsewhere would be less of a slap in the face, methinks. Try not to freak out on me for posing my opinion.

Sorry !! I thought you said the extended door was
from another company. Are you say the door that broke
is the door that came from Seidio ??

    Wow.
If you bought the battery from the Manufacturer then I would understand but you bought it through a third party. So where is SEIDIO ripping you off. You sound like folks on here that buy phones on ebay and demand that VZW, Sprint or whoever replace them when they are broke.

So, who dropped the blackberry? Seidio or the owner of the after market item? I think Seidio is doing a great thing by offering the door without battery. Like others mentioned, they could have stated "No."

I thought about getting the 2600 battery at one point. I held back after reading numerous reviews on how awful the battery door is. Not just hear, but posts all across the web are claiming how easy the door can break.

Does anyone sell a better quality extended battery door other than Seidio?

In general I like Seidio products, but dealing with them on the phone is a real chore! They are not what I call customer friendly!
