I am thinking of getting the Seidio 2600mAh Extended Battery for BlackBerry Curve, I was wondering if anyone has it already and if it works with the chrome desktop charger. I have that one and the blackberry desktop cradle, it is obvious it will not work with that one, chrome charger looks like it may work. anyone tried it?

^^^ same here, the 1500 mAh one, and it's compatible with all chargers, and is same size as stock.

I have the 2600 and its good I have been having issues with my keyboard lights staying on all the time, so that's obviously killing my battery. It seems to last a long longer, maybe 3 days of very heavy usage. I also like the added shape to the back of it. Makes it easier to hold.

I've had a 2600 for about four weeks now. I'm entirely satisfied with it - it gives me five days of charge - mind you, my Jivetalk is all all the time. I do have the phone on auto turnoff at night though which must save some charge.

Yeah the batteries will all use the same charger. I have the 1500 and I love it. I didn't get the 2600 because of how it would turn my curve into a hunchback.

According to Seidio website the chrome cradle is not support with the 2600mah battery.

had that last week sometime - AT&T replaced mine so you might want to look into it if it's within your warranty period. My lights wouldn't even turn off when the phone was off!

A little bit pricy but worth the cost.

Sorry it took me so long to post this, but the extended btry is alright, it makes the phone feel more solid but at the same time it made my wallet feel empty. If your an average user...it's not worth it...business user or an absolute crackhead i wouldn;t buy it.

Hey I dunno but I got my 1500mAh yesterday. After charging it for the 8hrs, the battery is draining just like my regular battery did. When I'm at work I turn off all applications, turn off the radio and put the fone in standby. This doesn't help, my battery keeps draining. I spent money on this extended battery and I don't think its worth it. What did I do or am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance

So can anyone tell me what charger WILL accommodate the 8330 extended battery case AND a seidio cover?
I bought an after-market charger stand ($25?) which worked great with the original battery and a protective skin (or cover). But adding the extended battery thickness to my Bberry body makes that charger stand unuseable. Is there an alternative, or do I have to settle for being one of those schmucks who has to plug the cord directly into my Bberry and lay it on my desk, then pick it up every time I want to view the screen?
