Personally, I like my devices beefy and large. The bigger it is, the more I think it can do and the more build quality I feel it has.

Now it may take more force to shove in a pocket...and jut out a little, but that extra juice has to come in handy eventually.

Honestly, if I felt I needed the extra battery life I'd consider getting one. But as it stands, now that the work week is over I can prolly make it to late Monday afternoon with my current battery

For some reason, the side profile shot reminds me of the ridiculous 'sleeve' system for Compaq's iPaq 36XX PDA years ago. I wasn't a fan of the bulk then, and I'm not a fan of it now, so I'll be passing on this. Still, a 90% increase in battery life is quite impressive.

Lol i actually started laughing when i saw the big bulge coming from the back, making it look like it had an adult diaper under there somewhere. The battery is of course a good idea but idk the size and look take away from the "sleekness" of the phone in my opinion. But to each his own =).

Everyone can't be a comedian, guy. You would've been just as funny laughing at the 300 joke.

i feel badly for the hypebeast kids who wear those really tight pants.. how will they pocket their new toy now?

saw one in person today and not my style at all. it reinforced my original "tumor" description.. looks like a storm on roids.. in a bad way.

    .
Skinny leg jeans are a women-only comodity. Any man you see wearing them should be stabbed in the leg, twice.

Can we assume the cover is made of metal, similar to the OEM? Is the "rubberized texture" some kind of coating?

I have gotten my extended battery for about 3 days. I love capacity of the battery, it keeps me going for 2+ days with moderate use. I dont mind the "tumor" in the back, as it gives the the storm a better grip when you type side ways.

There is a problem with the backdoor locks. I noticed one of the lock has a crack and it is extending with the regularly removal of the backdoor (battery pull!).

I have emailed seidio's tech support and hopefully they will give me a replacement door.

    That looks terrible!

I think if battery life was important to me I would consider having a second battery somewhere.

I must say I'm loving the extra battery which pairs well the the seidio clip holster. I love how my storm feels in my hand now with the added depth.

They should sell a big antenna with that battery. Kind of nostalgic and reminiscent of the old original cellular phones.
