If you have another Phantom Skinz screen protector (my kit came with 2) give it another try. I messed up my first one too and almost gave up. I decided to try the second one and I don't regret it at all. The screen looks amazingly clear and the "self healing" properties of the film actually work. Most minor scratches disappear in an hour or less from my experience. Also skin oils don't cause it to fog at all which is what happened with my last screen protector.

Hey everyone. I got my phantomskinz screen protector yesterday and it didn't turn out well at all.

Does anyone know of any screen protectors that don't use solutions to apply?

I had a press on screen protector for my ipod touch and I really would like to find something like that for my Tour

Wow. I got the phantomSkinz screen only and it is superb. Took about 3 minutes to put on and I left phone off for 2 hours. Coworker saw mine and ordered one himself. Extremely clear so not sure what troubles you had.

I had 3 tiny water bubbles under mine and had to leave my phone powered off for about 12hrs. They were gone after that though.

If BSE would get their stuff together and release one for the Tour, they're one of the best.

I'm gonna wait for BSE, they are really cheap and about the best from the reviews.

When I purchased my Tour, I also purchased the screen protector from Verizon. It's a "privacy screen protector." Works GREAT!!

I just installed the clarivue yesterday that I had posted a while back I ordred. It was a lot easier to put on than I expected. I bought the curve 8900 cut and it fits great. It is really clear and hardly noticable on.

I also got a privacy protector from Verizon. It works great and does not mes with the clarity of the screen. It was extremely easy to put on. Much easier than the Storm screen protectors that I had that always had elusive bubbles.

I got my privacy screen protector from VZW, I am on my 2nd, the first was not put on properly by the Rep. I was getting lint under the protector. The next time I did it myself, now it's great.

Picked up the Privacy protector from Verizon.. Here's a picture of the privacy part of it.. I find it useful for people looking over my shoulder mostly.. Bugs me when people are trying to read my conversations. This is with the backlight all the way up. Sorry about the bad quality picture from my iSight on my Macbook.

I don't know why people say the Verizon ones are so bad.
    I love mine!

Get these at target and cut them down, makes 4 screens for tour....just lay em on a clean screen and presto! I use one under the verizon privacy cuz the privacy scratches easily and needs to be replaced every so often then all you do is peel off the privacy on the top layer and reapply.....
