Well, after using my Storm 2, I love it, minus all the fingerprints.

I did buy a 3 pack of screen protectors from VZW for only $10, pretty good deal. Should I use em? Or is this screen glass, therefore not able to scratch?

Use em, if your car keys get a hold of the screen its game over man.

Question I think Verizon gave be 9530 screen protectors. Are they any different? Do they also cover the new soft buttons (send, blackberry, back, end)?

    My screen protector does not.

The ones that I received were labeled for the 9550. However, they don't cover the function buttons, only the main screen area. I would prefer the whole thing, but will use these until I find something else.

I got some today labeled 9550 and they are the exact same vzw sold for the 9530. They don't cover the send/end keys. Kinda lame, but good for now I guess

Does your 9550 protectors go to the outer edge completely (right before the gap)? Mine does not go all the way on both sides. Close but not perfect.

I don't like that it does not cover the soft buttons up. I know they would have to curve it a little to work... But I don't like my finger touching that ridge and it's a smudge trap.

I put the Verizon screen protectors on my phones, but also ordered my phantom skinz today so when that gets here the Verizon ones are coming off. It is hard to keep the Verizon protectors clean anyhow. The phantom skinz wipes off nice and easy.

Ohhhhh thanks for the phantom skinz tip. Looks like they have a curved skin and that it covers the buttons... I will be ordering that tomorrow! I just suck putting them on... Are they hard? I usually like letting someone at the store put them on... Ahhh well I guess I can give it a try.

I ordered some cheap ones from this site. they work fine for now. I'll get the bodyguardz when they come out. The ones from here don't even stick on the edges of the screen lol. Can't really notice it when the device is on, so it's all good for now.

I used this universal screen protector and cut it to fit the whole screen myself.

A little work cut out for you, but worth it.

They are on sale right now too. Coupon code "fall30". Wasn't difficult. I have their skin on my storm one and it survived rather well. Definitely did it's job.

Tried that before, but it doesn't stay flat where you cut using a razor blade or scissors!

I bought the Verizon 3 pak of screen protectors today. They were labeled 9550 but only cover the screen and not the 4 function buttons at the bottom. If you guys find screen protectors made of the exact same material as these, except with full glass coverage, please post the brand. I really like the non water application and glass smooth finish these have. I've used the Best Skins Ever brand before, but the orange peel surface really detracted from the optical clarity.

Is the screen similair to storm1 in terms of scratch resistant?
I remember a video showing even if you scratch it with a knife it didn't scratch for storm1.

Thanks for the tip. Just ordered mine. Wasn't happy with the VZW ones cause they didn't cover the soft keys. I hate fingerprints all over my beautiful phone.

hmm, I still don't know. The screen seems pretty durable to me. You know? Plus all I have are the unopened VZW screen protectors, which apparently don't cover the buttons at the bottom. I'm so torn haha.
