    Hey,

Does anyone know why the battery "RIM C-S2 Battery for BlackBerry 7100/ 8700 / 8300" is so cheap on amazon.com? I mean I thought it was used since it was so cheap, but it says the condition is new..

And also is the Blackberry 8300 battery the same as 8320?

    Thanks,

    -John

If it's being shipped from Amazon it wouldn't be used and they'd back it. If it's being shipped from a third-party seller in Amazon then make sure you look at their feedback.

new batts for a ridiculously cheap price usually means it's old stock. you really dont want an old stock battery. Li-Ion batteries that never get charge cycled after manufacture die while sitting in a warehouse.

I bought two CS-2 RIM batteries for $7 each. They both seem to work about like the battery that came with my Curve. Maybe I got lucky. Maybe not.
