I have recently purchased the Otterbox Defender. Its a great case and holster don't get me wrong but $50 is eh, I'd love to have a clip like the otterbox but with a more slim case that I can type fast with and use my trackpad...

My friend has a 8750 I believe. The new curve on vzw with a trackpad and his case is amazing I'd switch just for it! Any way of finding my case? Lol.... Like what my friend has?

I'm not a fan of big bulky cases. I've been using Capdase skin and metal case for my Bold 9000 and 9700. The site is here.

Yea.. I'm looking for a slimmer case with the belt clip.. I've noticed there's not much of a selection with this One bb.. Everything else has tons...

The best case that I've found is the seidio innocase II. Its great thin and has enough protection.

Best case IMO is the case-mate signature series with the holster and screen protector. I just like the way it feels in my hand. I've dropped my phone and almost had a heart attack and no damage. I couldn't use my phone without a case. Too easy for bad things to happen.

I have a Commuter with the oem 9000 holster. This works well and I can still pocket the phone if necessary. I also own a defender but don't care for the design. I would get dust under the screen protector.

looks nice!! innocase II really really really really sucks. My berry slipped out of my hand again and landed on a NYC sidewalk. The case flew off as usual leaving my berry naked on the concrete. The innocase then landed in the trash. I'm done with it. Its crap. I have never been a phone dropper or an anything dropper for that matter. I blame the case.

Ive had the otter, Seidio and Case-Mate cases. Im using the Incipio Silicrylic now and really like it. Not too bulky, but very good protection. I had a left over OEM 9000 holster, so it fits perfectly with the Incipio.

your friend's curve is the 8530. And dont downgrade to it. it's far to blow the 9700 in network speed and phone overall speed

Too tight to fit in the oem 9700 holster with the epik case on.. unless you're talking about the 9000 holster.

It might not be the best looking case, but it protects well, including the screen. Monaco Aluminum Case (I was using an OtterBox Commuter, but the screen is still exposed). BlackBerry Bold 9700 Monaco Aluminum Case - Black

My berry is still naked! It likes to be au nat raul!

I do use the OEM holster a lot and try my best to be careful. I didn't drop my 8100 once in 2 years, so hoping for the luck again. *knocks on perforated wood, lol!*

I've had a lot of cases; OEM holster (too big), OEM Skin (linty and got loose) EPIK circle and logo versions (***** to remove), Case-mate barely there (slippery and might scratch the bezel over time), Otterbox Commuter (lint and hassle to remove and put on), Vaja Leather Pocket (hard to take phone out) and I didn't like any of them for reason stated above.

What I've done is removed my rogers bottom cover and replaced it with an OEM one and put on a Best Skins Ever Full body skin on my phone and carry it that way. I installed everything except for the pieces that goes on the battery cover.

Another reason none of these cases didn't last long is because I use the OEM Dock and all of them require me to take them out of the case and put them back in the case which became annoying and I didn't feel like getting a Seidio Dock.

And lets be honest the 9700 just looks great Naked.
