Just checked out the upcoming Otterbox cases for the Bold 9900. Very nice. Can't decide if I want the Commuter or the Defender. Excited.

Currently have a Commuter on my 9780. Thinking about a Defender for the 9900 for added protection. Since the 9900 will be the thinnest BlackBerry, I don't think the added thickness of the Defender case won't hurt.

The Defender series typically adds too much bilk for my liking - the commuter is a good choice for me.

I will buy this case if it comes with a belt clip because I really need that.

I use the charging pod for bold 9700 instead of plugging into the wall charger. I love really love it. Becomes a charging dock and a desk clock.

I hope there is case out there that allows the bottom charging pod to open easily open up. Otherwise I am going without the case.

I love the Commuter series; perfect balance, for me. I'll be getting one for 9900 as soon as it drops.

Never got the appeal of hiding the slim elegance of a phone like the 9930 with a plastic/rubber/silicone casing that completely ugli-fies it.
My Tour is naked as a jaybird and scratch-free. Just take care of your phone and you won't need an ugly case that hides the device's elegant design.

As someone else mentioned earlier: those cases make using things like the charging pod and most car cradles impossible. The charging pod is the nicest accessory in my opinion. I'll pass on the cases that make my phone look like a mini Nerf football.

I might do some colorwaring so my phone might go naked for a bit.

I might go with a nice leather case from Noreve, Sena, Piel Frama, or Fortte. The Commuter looks great though.

Needs some kind of covering, protection against finger prints and short drops but nothing too thick. Does Trojan have anything for a BlackBerry?

As with most of my BlackBerrys, against better judgement I'll probably decide it looks better naked.

I would never put such a thick case on it but thats just me. Do you guys work in an environment that requires such a case or are just trying to be extra careful?

It's going to have to survive a presidential campaign cycle, so there's no question I'll need to protect it. Commuter, I think will be the one.

I am an alarm tech who regularly climbs roofs to fix duct smoke detectors in the RTU's, and there is no way in **** I would be caught dead with either my work or personal 9650's not in their Defenders.

I'm getting one for this one as well...

I'm in law enforcement. the Defender case is very common among co-workers. You never know when your phone is going to take a drop.

I purchased the Otterbox for my Bold 9650 and retired it within 3 weeks because of the frequent battery pulls I had to do to fix an odd issue I have with the factory bluetooth in my company car.

Anyone else determine that pulling their Berry out of an Otterbox for re-sets was too much of a pain?

I think the commuter looks like the one I'm going to buy. I like that the design changed so you can see the front space above the screen now. That was my biggest problem with the commuter on my 9700.
