    Glad to hear it. That case was horrible (for the reasons described in that blog). Glad to see they are going back to the drawing board.

    This customer service rep was unfortunately misinformed, we have not discontinued this product. As always, listening to our customers is a top priority and we are still investigating reports of issues with certain aspects of the OtterBox Defender Series for BlackBerry Bold 9900 series.

    So take that as if you have an issue with this case. Please let them know!

    Still, this seems like a pat PR response. This screams "keep it quiet while we redesign it" to me. Seems like maybe there should be a recall, but you know how the business world works...cost vs service.
