Thanks for the reviews. I'm torn between the Otterbox commuter and CM barely there, how do they compare? Is the Otterbox much thicker than the CM?

    Thx
The otterbox commuter is definately thicker...but it offers protection. The CM barely there case is very thin and offers little protection.

I really like the look of the OEM hard shell. Going to get one of those. Anyone know a good retailer that sells good screen protectors? Can't seem to find one. Looking at the rogers site and they sell a $19.99 one which I don't know if it's any good. http://www.rogers.com/web/link/wirel...+11+4294947952

I use the holster that came with my bold. I perfer the naked feel over a case and with insurance on it I think I am covered.

Bought a pretty sweet case from Best Buy, made by Roots. It's a leather-back, hard silicone type material. I had a Otterbox Commuter case before but this case is far better at looking at and the feel is better. It doesn't cover the front of the phone at all, which I love about it. It snaps on around the phone and wouldn't just come off. Got it for 30 bucks and has a 2 year warrenty and a screen protector. The cover for the camera and LED flash is a hard plastic. Pictures are below, taken by my 9900 along with the case I just got my BestSkinEver in the mail today and will apply it tonight! Don't wanna get any scratches on my pretty little phone . Both accessories are about 42-43 bucks together.

The OEM softshell case, which I currently use, is being pawned off as the gel/skin case. Does a true OEM gel/silicone skin case, similar to those for the 9700/9780, exist?

Looking for the same case I've used for the past four years on three separate phones, must be OEM. Don't believe it's been realized... yet.

I would really like to know if the Otterbox Commuter case fits in the holster that comes with the phone. Has anyone tried this yet?

If not, I guess I'll have to stick with the soft shell or OEM gel skin. Hope it fits in the holster!

Here's an idea: how about the Otterbox Commuter case paired with the leather swivel holster for the Bold 9000? Has anyone tried that? I'm wondering how the fit would be and if the sleep function would work...

The only case I have ever bought was the Otterbox Impact. I hate any type of plastic especially on back. I don't want my phone to slide when I have it sitting in passenger seat while driving. I like the all rubber feel...Yup, I said it!!

I just bought one on eBay for $12.95 shipped. I really love the look of this phone, but I like the piece of mind better.

I bought the Ghost Armor, awesome, have the full body protection, in my opinion it is easier to apply that zagg, takes longer to become clear, about 2 days. But its beautiful when dry, clear as clear could be.
I was thinking of getting Tru Protection BlackBerry Bold 9900 Screen Protector (TRU BB 9900) : BlackBerry Cases - Best Buy Canada

i also like the brushed alu case from case mate, but hate the big logo on the bottom right of it...

...worse yet is the plastic packaging they use. It's so bad for the environment.
