OK so seeing all of the choices for cases for other BB case I wonder if there is anything worth while for the flips? I had bought a snap on plastic cover from Amazon but it started cracking about 2 weeks into it. Anyone have any interesting suggestions?

Not a case in the traditional slip-on style, but I use a Gizmobie 'skin' on my 8220. It applies directly to the front and back and offers a protective covering to the device. Minimal bulk, better grip and a more secure battery door are all pluses here, too. And, when you're eventually done with the phone, Gizmobie easily peels off with no damage or residue.

Their website (Gizmobies are Pocketable iPod, iPhone, and Blackberry Protection with Style) is particularly bad as it does not show the Flip, but it is available.

I bought a clear front and back case from a kiosk in a mall. It has worked great and save it from a couple of falls. No name case.

I'd love to show you...but post rules.

Anyway. I found it at Fred Meyers. The phone fits perfect, it's got a flap that has magnetic closure, flap is jogged so that you can see the notification LED.
