Yes it will. Before leather pockets were made available for the 9800, I used an OEM Storm leather pocket. It fit perfectly. The only downside is that there are no "U" indentations at the top of the sides of the case, as there are with the 9800/9810 case, so you can't pull the device out by its sides, only by pinching the top of the device and pulling it out. I'm not sure that's great for a slider phone . . . .

FWIW, the leather pocket for the 9800/9810 is available for just under $10 from Amazon.

That does indeed have the "u" -- maybe just a little less deep than the actual 9810 case, but definitely functional enough, I would think (nice looking case, too). The 9810 case is a bit shorter in the front so you can see the LED indicator.

The OEM ones I was talking about without the "u" are these (leather and synthetic, respectively), which are the same height front and back, but are shorter to allow you to pull the device out:

Edit: be sure and check to see if the case has a magnet to put the device to sleep. Magnets in the OEM Storm cases are in the same place as the magnets in the OEM 9800/9810 cases, but the one you're thinking about is not an OEM case, and I don't see any indication on the website about whether it puts the device to sleep/has a magnet.
