I want one car charger for a Bold/8900/8320. On the blackberry site the USB 12V Auto Charger is listed as good for Bold & 8320 but not the 8900. What is so special about the 8900?

I don't own the 8900 but plan to get it. Could someone with one tell me the needed charging voltage etc?

Well, it's a different jack: the bold and old curve have a standard mini-USB jack while the 8900 has a different one (often called micro USB I believe). It's a bit smaller but wider. I think the voltages are the same, its USB after all.

Oh good grief... why did they do this. I hate have multiple chargers laying around.
I'll need to pick up one of these then:

    Thank you.

It's the evolution of technology, you'll see future phones using microusb. At least it isn't a proprietary plug like samsung always uses. I have an 8900 with a plantronics 925 that uses microusb also. Makes a great combo.

I just bought a mini to micro usb adaptor so I can use my old 8320 car charger.
