I thought you could use generic headphones with the 8530. Trying to listen to pandora but its not coming through the headphones. Any ideas?

Did you make sure they were plugged in all the way? I know on mine it was a tight fit. Also did you try increasing the volume with the rocker buttons?

Yeah I did do that. So was I right in thinking that you can use generic headphones? Or is there something you have to change in the settings?

Cause I really hate listening to these idiots using public transportation!

No you can use any 3.5mm headphones.

We have had a thread or two on this before. Just make sure the headphones are pushed in all the way first, they will click in.

Did your BB not come with the branded headphones?

I've found a little 'hitch' when playing pandora and switching from speakerphone to headphones. For example if you're playing it through the headphone port and disconnect, I've had to pause and play the current song to get it to switch to the speakerphone.
Make sure the headphones are plugged in all the way prior to starting Pandora.

I didn't get headphones with my BB. Guess I just have to get new ones. Thanks!
