Mine were the pos model too. After a few uses one of them actually fell apart! Anybody know a good replacement?

... I got my Storm yesterday.

I got the premium ones. The standard one came with my pearl last year.

I tried both because I was really impressed by the look of the premium one.

The premium hearphones comes with 3 different soft 'buds' to fit your ears perfectly.

The main thing his the sound (doh) although the standard one played just ok. The new hearphones have some bass. The sound is more crispier.

The play pause button actually work really really good and if you hold the play button here comes the voice dialing feature.

I'm not trying to rub this in...
Although I have read the saying I am about to say thousands of times on crackberry, I have never said it. I also don't agree with the way it is typically used, but I gotta through it in here. "Pics or it didn't happen!". There is no way that you got different headphones than every other user out there.

If you are going to convince me otherwise you are going to have to give me the numbers off the sticker that is on the baggie the headphones came in.

    me and you both brother
the premium ones definitely sound better then the standard ones. could be because they actually fit snugly in your ear and block out external noise better.

you can find them relatively cheap (around $15) on eBay.

I'm getting a brand new Storm tomorrow, and I'm betting I still get the standard buds. That guy was probably trying to get some hype started.

word of caution - had 2 pairs of vibe duos crap out (sound went out on one side) in 6 months. vibe replaced them both times, but i came to the conclusion that the sound and build quality in $15 blackberry premium headphones is just fine.

ours is $599 CDN retail, so about $495 US

I think they're okay (better than the standard ones like what I had with the Curve) but can't compare to any "real" stereo headsets like the Shures or etc.

the standard ones don't sound bad, they are just too bulky. In order to make them stay in your ear you have to wedge them in, this hurts only after a few minutes... I truely hate know that I could have gotten a better ear bud....lol

So why do verizon users get screwed with the pos ones that are way to big? And they have them on there web site for $39.99. Just a bit much for those
