well I have been having a issue lately with bbb .162, I am not sure when it started but it stopped mounting, pocket mac still works. But it wont mount
on my Intel Mac OSX 10.5.5 - I don't have any probs on my Quad Core box but .. it used to work fine mounting on the mac ..

any one else have this issue

I thinks OSX 10.5.5 not compatible with Bold. When not upgrade to 10.5.5 then my Bold good work on 10.5.4.

Your OS is the problem. Ditch OSX already.

possibilty it will not mount on desktop because you have mass storage set no.

Go to - OPTIONS - MEMEORY and enable mass storage to yes.

It should now mount on your MAC desktop

Did anybody get a solution to this?

Mine has just started doing this too. Mass storage is set to on aswell.

Quite annoying as I have some photos to transfer over and I cannot get Bluetooth working either.

Try reinstalling the updated USB driver for Pocketmac. If you don't have them just download from blackberry.com

No problem until a replacement unit arrived today from Vodafone (the old one had developed a fault with a stuck button).

Now I can see new unit from a Windows desktop, but not from the Mac (via USB). I also use Missing Sync, so need USB for the initial synch. I tried Pocketmac and quickly threw it away.

It seems as though it may be unit related rather than generic (why else would the old unit work this morning, and the new one not this evening?).

    Has anyone a solution?

I'm running 10.5.7 and my BlackBerry is running ( and I cannot get it to mount AT ALL, I tried installing PocketMac, then the drivers, then uninstalling both, then installing the drivers first, then PocketMac and literally spent four hours on it, and it WOULD NOT and will not mount.

So I reverted to taking the MicroSD card, sticking it in a SD adapter, and putting it in my D40, then connecting my D40 via USB, and transferring media over that, Sad, I know.

September and Desktop Manager for Mac can't get here fast enough.
