Anyone have the OEM leather pouch? Mobi Case? Otterbox?

Any tips appreciated. I live in a small town, and will order online here. Don't want to waste any bucks...

    Much appreciated.

Though I have not ordered one yet, may I suggest having a look at pdair.com? I've gotten many cases from them in the past and the quality of their leather holsters is always excellent.

The RIM case (I think it is this one) has gotten some pretty good reviews from folks on this board as well.

The OEM leather pouch is the best. I keep my phone in my pocket and the pouch puts the device to "sleep" and protects it. The other cases make the phone more bulky and you can't use the charging pod with them.

There is a thread about the otterbox and how it is scratching up some peoples devices, search for it and take a read.

Agreed. I've used the pouch for all my BB's and the OEM for the Torch is by far the best one yet. You wont be disappointed.

OEM leather holster with a naked Torch. There have also been posts about cases scratching the bezel.

I don't like the Otterbox. I have one and stopped using it. Makes the phone way to bulky and I don't care for the appearance.

I have the factory holster, and I really like it. This is all I plan on using at this point.

Same I have the rim pouch for mine

The only problem I had with it was actually paying for it caus they used to come free with the phone and that was a **** off

I agree, shocking that they don't come as standard. The charger is not as well built either, the cable on it is thinner and seems cheaper

I guess being fairly new none of you remember some of the posts about the cases that came with the Blackberrys. There were many complaints and I guess Blackberry listened and decided to save money and ship without the cases. I guess they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

I have the AGF GRT shell case and love it! I like my phone in my pocket so the holster won't work for me. This case is solid and I have not had any problems with it. My wife did have an Otterbox and we had to get rid of it because the top cover started falling off so I got her the AGF too. Sucks that I've spent over $120 on cases so far!

Is this the pouch of which you speak? Can you plug in the charger while it's in this pouch? It doesn't appear so from the pic, but the pic might not be 100% accurate, so I'll ask anyway...

    Thanks ...

Really? Somebody actually complained? Whag was the issue, there was to much to take out of the box? I agree I like the pouch. I got the otter box for my 8520-9800 because they didn't come w/ one. If I had known I would have complained about not getting one. Heck if they where going to keep anyrhing they can keep the earpluggs.

That's the case. You must remove the phone from the case to charge it.
I do recommend the "charging pod" for that purpose.

I bought the hard clear case(2pcs set) and I only use the bottom back cover case
don't like the top pcs, I also ordered a 2pcs silicone case, but most likely I will only use the back pcs aswell, I like the feel of the silicone case while holding the Torch instead of the plastic case

I was surprised there weren't any pouches (or other accessories for that matter) available at launch in Canada (at least in Saskatoon). Any other Canadians find any accessories for the Torch? Which stores?

Best Buy has some Case-mate cases. Crackberry store has Mobi and Otterbox I think.

Started with otterbox and, like many others, have since thrown it away. I'm now using the Mobi hard shell case (1/3 the price of the otterbox), and I really like it. I had to use some strategically placed double-sided tape to keep the top piece from coming off occasionally in my Bold 9000 horizontal holster. But, it does fit very well in my holster and in my Bold car mount with the Mobi case still on it. I'm very pleased. I got the clear case, but it comes in many different colors too.

Hey where did you order your silicone case from? I am about to install my BSE skin, but I miss my silicone cases and didn't know 2-piece ones were available!
