    Hello

In anticipation of getting the Bold 9700 I am looking for a case that will protect my new investment. I am looking for a case that will protect the screen and not reduce any viewing and not add any glare and if there is glare reduce it. I would like the case to protect the outside of the phone from scratching and still be able to use all of the capabilities of the phone without taking the case off and be easy to be able to put on and take off.

    Any recommendations?

I'm going to use ZAGG | invisibleSHIELD | BlackBerry Bold 9000 Cases, Screen Protectors, Covers, Shields, Skins, Invisible Shield. There is not one for the 9700 yet but I think there will be soon, they have one for Storm 2, so hopefully will be updated soon. They are easy to apply and give good protection from scratches/marks, without adding bulk the the phone.

I think the Seidio Innocase II would be a good option. Seidio cases are generally well made and offer a decent amount of protection.

I will most likely go with a stick on like the body gaurdz or invisishiled. The reason is pretty simple for me, I use a cradle. I don't like having to take off whatever case I am using to put it in the cradle.

I picked one of these up at my local COR store - surprised they had them (I got the last one) and is a very nice case. Superb fit. Just didn't like the $29.99 AT&T price, but maybe that's the normal price for the Innocase II.

EBAY gotta red rubberized one and a screen protector for under $14 so yea y pay double that for a case and plus if it breaks it was only like 7 or 8 bucks....

Heck my favorite is a new 8700 case I had in the drawer.

RIM's new cases are cr^p compared to their older ones.

Im wondering if the Epik cases for the 8900 work
well with the 9700 seeing as they dont have a 9700

They have epik case for 9700 ordered it last night best case ever. Had one for my nokia e71 and loved it. You can't beat a great case for 4.99. Only downside is they ship from china which takes time for delivery. Search for the seller dcmugen.

+1 for the Otter Box Commuter. It adds just the right amount of bulk so it feels good in your hand, plus it looks great! It actually makes the side keys on the 9700 MUCH easier to use. And the first time I dropped my Berry on the concrete; it didn't even make a sound...serious. I've had the screen protector that came with the case on it for months, and you don't even know its there. And it protects the screen beautifully! Best investment.

I bought the Platinum PT case from BestBuy after using that one on my Bold 9000. The case itself is super tough, but it is a bit of a struggle to get it out of the clip, since it doesn't have a spring lock like the 9000 case. I switched to the Seidio Innocase and holster from mobilecityonline and love it. Tough case and easy access to all of the buttons. The Platinum case has a bit of a lip on it that makes it difficult to get to the buttons on the edge of the keyboard sometimes.

I use the 9700 Body Glove. It works pretty good, makes the phone somewhat more bulky which I personally don't like. So I use it on and off. Its love hate lol

I've got the Otterbox Commuter also, great case, but it doesn't protect the screen beyond the screen protector that comes with it, so if you beat up your phone definitely get a bulkier case
