To all that replied thank you for the feed back. I am going to head back to the drawing board and try a different texture, color and maybe over all design. Check back later this week for details.

My initial thought was that it is fugly and not my style at all, but I am sure there are tons of other users out there that would love it!

As lots of others, not my style. Also, doesn't look like it provides much protection at all.
    But good luck.

Looks like Rhino Linings (spray on linings for the beds of pickup trucks).

I would buy one except...the part I am most worried about scratches and dings ruining is left completely exposed.

You can't expect people to want a "full-body cover" that doesn't cover the silver trim. I am far less worried about a scratch on the black plastic, as they hardly show. A scratch on the silver trim is visible from across the room.

Looks tough. Does it pick up lint much? That's what keeps me from using anything but a clear hard plastic cover. It's in and out of my lab coat all day... which I wash every other day... lint city! Not to mention, rubberized covers "stick" to your pockets and don't slide in and out easily...

Still, this makes me want to get some masking tape and go to Home Depot and try some Rhino Truck bed liner on my storm...

And hey.. .the word "hawt" is common vernacular now. Wannit on the other hand...

I don't really like the look. Looks like busted up asphalt. And how easy/difficult is it to remove once you've put it on? I don't want alot of crap stuck to my Storm. Also, I have to agree with the other person who said it's a problem that it doesn't cover the silver trim. The silver trim is the most easily damaged(and least attractive) part of the Storm IMO.

Rob, consider offering different textures/patterns for the skin. I suspect that this one won't garner too many "oohs" and "aahs".

I like the idea behind it... a rugged protector for those of us who tend to abuse their devices, but from the pictures it looks like there is no real protection going on.

In response to multiple posts: it feels like leather, you can not file a nail on it. It does not attract lint like other covers do. The pictures I think make it look a little rougher than it actually is. It really looks like rawhide leather and feels similar.
