I was wondering how many of the 8900 users kept used it no pouch or case whatsoever, and just store it on its own when in the pocket.

I have a screen protector on, and lost the pouch (although only had it 2 days!) and am debating whether to spend the money on a new pouch... It's not a matter of money, but I'm just wondering whether it will actually make a difference - I would only keep it in an empty pocket, and whenever it is out of my pocket, it will be out of the pouch.

    What do you think?

I would be having a major freak out right about now. I am very paranoid about any dust/lint/etc. getting into the keys, space around the screen. I have several cases and covers and cannot imagine going naked

I think most people have a case or some sort of body skin, unless say they have a ColorWare 8900 in which case you want to show it off. I did a review of a pretty nice case for the 8900 find it here.

I just don't like any of the cases lol!

I want to buy another pouch but in the UK they are only available for like $25 which is quite a lot considering what it is!

I never use a holster, pouch, or skin. I like to just pull it out of my pocket and use it. Have screen protector and that's it.

I do like the bare 8900 to be honest (using original screen protector - I can't apply new ones correctly, always get air bubbles), but ordered a new pouch anyway - got it for 10 ($15ish), just in case!

I just have a full body skin from BSE but am looking at getting a gel skin or something as additional protection. Haven't found one I really like yet.

I have a skin, but never use it, l actually like how it looks naked. I guess I need to get a screen protector, but I haven't yet. When I have it in my pocket, nothing else is in the same pocket.

I have the Best Skins Ever full body skin and that's it. Have used this method for my past few BBs and never had a problem. Cases are too much trouble.

I'm looking for a case but the innocase is over 20 from ebay (too pricey for a case for me) but ordinary silicone skins easily atract pocket lint and dust

i got my 8900 the day it came out. i have never used a case or a screen protector - still looks like i just took it out of the box yesterday.

i know that i'm going to take some flak from some of my cb brothers and sisters for this one... but whatever. i'm just going to get another bb in 6 months when the newest comes out so it doesn't matter what it looks like. and i will NEVER sell my old bb's - they're like my children
