I have never used one on my tour, which has a similar screen, and honestly there is not one scratch. again this will depend on usage style and environment, but i would not say its a must have, but some others will disagree.

Mine is naked for now. I have a Innocase II and Snap hards cases but I am screening reviews as there have been instances of bezel scratching. The first time that I dropped my Curve and then my 9000 made me want to install one.

My phones naked, and sleek, the way it's meant to be. Cases look tacky imho.

Mine is naked for now, using the stock holster all of the time. Will switch to a pocket pouch and screen protector in a week. Always like my devices to stay looking brand new.

Mine is naked, but its scaring the **** out of me. LOL I dropped my old iPhone and cracked the screen glass, since then I always try to keep it covered up. My buddy has the Innocase Combo(?) for his Tour, and its pretty nice, but does add some significant bulk to the device.
