I'm thinking about getting an aircard for my netbook to use along with my BB. What carrier do you guys recommend?

(Mods, sorry. I didn't know what forum to put this in. Feel free to move it where it belongs.)

BTW: I'd be using it on a trip from Minnesota to California through Montana (northern route).

I'd say it would depend on which carrier has the best coverage in the areas you expect to be in. They all seem to have about the same deal at $60 a month and a 5GB cap on data per month. Why not tether your bb and use that for your laptop? That's all I use at home and when I travel.

I used a sprint Aircard in the past. Never had any issues with it. It was for corporate though we had truly unlimited data.

If you are looking for great connectivity nationwide, I would definitely go for the Verizon aircard.

By the way, I can hook you up with one for free after rebate. Contact blake@blakegates.com. We're a premium retailer for Verizon Wireless.

It was nice when it really was unlimited data. I had a Verizon and then a US Cellular and they both worked very well all across the country. Now it seems every carrier is doing the 5GB cap thing, tho that's still a lot of data.

I want to have 3G and I don't want to tie up my tethering for a week.
