    Hi to all.
I have a new case to hold my Blackberry but I will like to know where is the location of the magnet that disables the blackberry from turn on.
I hope some indication on the unit will sow me where is the magnet location is located so I can install a small magnet in the case.
    Thanks.

It will probably be the same as it is on my 8800; under the antenna cover (you might have Verizon written on it, it's just under your keyboard anyways), scan a magnet around there.

You should be able to actually feel it. Its the heaviest/hardest part of the case.

GoDJ - I think he got a new holster-type case that doesn't have a magnet and he want's to use the sleeper.

    Hi guys
I thank you for your reply.
To clear the question that is hard to understand is simple.
Take a small magnet and position it on the 8703e around the sensitive magnet location then see if the phone goes to sleep.
My battery cover has no logo of the Verizon.
I found that a magnet can turn off the 8703 when is located at the index that you push to open the cover.
It is under that bell looking symbol.
I had an old case that was OK and had the proper magnet I put some 5 minutes epoxy and some electrical tape and I inserted both of them in the proper location and I hold them until the epoxy cured and now it works ok the new magnet stops the 8703e from functioning.
    peter.

I always wondered what the magnet was for.
