The appworld link for BBM music posted on crackberry yields a message saying it is "not available for this device". It is not an old device, it runs OS6 for crying out loud. It even came with an 8gb microsd card, so it's media-centric enough. Why did RIM not support it?

It said the same for my Bold 9900. I think it takes time getting it up and running for different areas. I tried a couple hours later and I got it.

It still says "not available for this device" Apparently RIM doesn't care to get it working on even some recent devices.

I hope you're right. Lots of app developers don't support it, I was expecting more of RIM, however.

I got the same message when I tried to get it for my Curve 8530, which meets the requirements for the app, as I'm running OS 5.0 (5.0.0.1030) and BBM 6.0 (6.0.1.32).

    Requirements - User Guide - BBM Music - 1.0

Maybe it's because I'm on Boost Mobile?

I tried again today, still no workie.

Since the device has reached its EOL on Sprint, even though its an OS6 device, it was a Sprint (and Boost Mobile) exclusive, short-lived, and had both an unusual form factor and screen resolution. Seriously though, at least RIM should support the thing! Sigh.

According to App World's supported devices and carriers it should be compatible with the 9760 and Boost Mobile.

Try downloading again and if still doesn't work - reinstall App World.

    Yeah or try resetting appworld
    Open it and then:-
Hold ALT and type RSTRST. Give it a few secs and try again.
